For a couple of years now our pricing for EPC/Medicare patients has become increasingly complex as we have added more physios to our team, and especially physios of different levels of experience.
Our physio team continues to build on our experience and we continue to work together on our professional training to deliver the highest quality standard of physiotherapy to you and your loved ones.
We realise that we have 4 different levels of “gap” fees on top of the Medicare rebatable fee for EPC patients.
As we continue to grow and expand our services we have decided that it is time to simplify our EPC payment types for our clients, but also for our admin team to make their jobs easier.
As of 1st October we have decided on the following step to simplify billing for our patients coming on EPC/Medicare referrals for physiotherapy.
All patients will now pay the standard private patient consultation rate, whether this is our regular or our concession fee. Our admin team with then process your EPC/Medicare rebate immediately through our software which has a direct link to medicare for this fee to be refunded in your bank account, usually within the hour. Those of you eligible for a reduced rate as a concession will still receive a discount when you make your payment and your out of pocket amount will be similar to the method we currently use to process these payments.
