Get to know our new physio Harris Johnston, who has taken over from Riley Capra. I asked Harris some questions, so you can get to know him better.
What made you decide to be a physio?
Multiple sporting injuries lead me to seeing physios throughout my young sporting life and where my interest started.
What do you like most about being a physio?
I enjoy helping individuals reduce their pain and return to activities that they love. It is so rewarding seeing people return to what they love.
What is unique/different about working at spah?
The level of clinical experience & knowledge and use of multiple health disciplines under one roof.
What are 3 skills as a physio that you have learned these past few years?
Treating vertigo/dizzy patients, tailored sport specific rehabilitation & headache related treatment techniques.
What are your top hobbies?
Main hobby is photography; capturing the night sky, waterfalls or animals in their natural habitats.
What do you love about the Peninsula?
I love the atmosphere of the peninsula, everyone is so happy and positive along with being this close to the water is so beautiful and therapeutic.
What is something that most people don’t know about you?
I am a huge movie buff and I love learning about any gossip in the entertainment sphere.
