Peta graduated from the University of Queensland in 2005 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Over the last 20 years she has progressed to be working as a Senior Inpatient and Outpatient Physiotherapist. Over the last 10 years alongside her clinical work, she also worked as HR Manager of a medium sized inpatient and outpatient private practice on the northside of Brisbane.

Throughout her career Peta has shown a high level of care for her patients both inpatient and outpatient by individualizing their pathways and providing evidence based practice. Peta has worked with patients pre surgery (eg orthopaedic, abdominal, women’s health), post surgery as inpatients, and also prides herself on being able to provide continuity of care seeing these patients as outpatients.

Peta is primarily a general musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapist who has a very hands on approach and empowers her patients to take charge of the self management advice. Peta enjoys treating a wide range of conditions and has a special interest in shoulder, neck and back conditions. She has also worked in many multidisciplinary clinics with surgeons as the treating physiotherapist. In these clinics there is close treatment goal collaboration with the specialist doctor, physiotherapist and patient. Through her body of work over the last 20 years, Peta has developed a strong reputation as a caring and leading practitioner in private practice.

Outside of work, Peta enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters aged 10 and 6. She plays mixed netball and enjoys social time with friends and extended family. Peta and her husband, (who is a high school manual arts teacher), are also involved in the never ending project of renovating a 100 year old home.

Peta is thrilled to have joined the team at Scarborough Physio and Health to provide individualised care to their patients.
