Jayde Trevaskis – Practice Manager

Jayde is originally from Victoria, but having lived up here for over 20 years now, she considers herself a Queenslander!  She is the proud mother of two beautiful young ladies aged 18 and 28, and has recently become a doting Nanna to a beautiful granddaughter.

In 2006 Jayde’s brother Dean arranged a family trip to walk the Kokoda Track in tribute to their grandfather Hector, who served there in WWII.  With 9 family members consisting of three of Hector’s children and six grandchildren, they set off for the trip of a lifetime.  Jayde strongly recommends watching ‘The Power of Kokoda’ by Dean Trevaskis on YouTube – a poem written by her brother after their trip. 

Jayde was so inspired by what she had learned about the history of the diggers and their journey on the Kokoda Track, she arranged another trip in 2007.  This time walking the Track with a group of mothers, with the belief that mothers will share with their children everything they learn about the incredible journey of the diggers, in turn keeping the stories and the memories of the diggers alive.  

Jayde started at Scarborough Physio & Health in July 2022 as part of the administration team.  Jayde very quickly displayed a high level of customer service and some very high level admin skills and was promoted to Admin Lead in October 2022. Then in February 2023 Jayde was once again promoted, this time to the position of Practice Manager – a role which she is absolutely loving!  Jayde is at the clinic five days a week, and she spends some time on the front admin desk, so you may see her in and around the clinic.
